Self described as creatively maladjusted and a habitual line stepper, Charneil came up watching Unsolved Mysteries, Forensic Files, and America’s Most Wanted with his mother. A former foster youth and abuse survior, he has a passion for child welfare and social justice. Something he took with him to college where he majored in criminology. He’s hitting the books again, studying human services with a focus in forensic psychology.
He currently splits his time between working in higher education, school, mentoring at-risk youth, and foster care advocacy work. His goal is to build community, explore factors that contribute to crime, and help remove the stigma surrounding mental health.
A girl with a house…well, a girl who lived in a house with a mother that shared her love of true crime with Dee. Dee has a passion for mental health and that’s what led her to receive her degree in social work. She has been working in the mental health field for over 12 years and hasn’t lost that fire yet.
She’s back in school, studying clinical mental health, laying the ground work to one day open her own practice. She hopes to make you laugh while educating you on the connection between crime and mental health.
